Membership Benefits

• Online trading room for sale and purchase of scrap metal is currently being established.
• Member savings schemes such as business insurance, work cover insurance, etc., with more on the way.
• Representation on issues such as taxation and environment.
• Assistance with OH&S.
• An ongoing campaign against illegal dealers.
• Linkage to Department of Trade and commerce (Austrade) for overseas buyers and local exporters.

How much is membership going to cost me ?

AMRIA membership fees are based upon whether you are a scrap metals recycler or a service provider to our industry. For recyclers who can join as full members, the current annual fees are $450.

Businesses who are not actually engaged in the metals recycling business but who provide support to the industry may join as Associate Members who may participate in all AMRIA activities but who do not have voting rights. The current annual fee for Associate Membership is $400.

No GST applies to AMRIA membership payments
