The Australian Metal Recycling Industry Association is recognised as the voice of the Scrap Metal Recycling Industry and proactively communicates with State and Federal Agencies such as the EPA, the Australian Tax Office, State Police etc.
AMRIA seeks to bring together on a regular basis, like-minded people to discuss and share their knowledge, and provide information about the current challenges facing the Scrap Metal Recycling Industry.
We would like to invite you to become a member of AMRIA which is a growing body representing small, medium ands large scrap metal dealers nation wide. AMRIA has been created to provide a collective industry voice to other trade associations/ governments on contentious and important national/ international trade issues as well as providing a forum for all members to regularly get together and exchange contacts. For the relatively small fees involved please do consider joining our organisation.
The Primary Objectives of AMRIA are:
Unification of members who are involved in the metal recycling industry.
Promote and represent the interests of members.
Inform members of current law changes affecting the metal recycling industry.
Undertake as required, actions to promote / amend legislation and guidelines to ensure the protection of members businesses.
Promote the metal recycling industry as environmentally friendly
